1. From theHomescreen, tap theAppsicon and then selectEmail.
2. Enter your e-mail address and password.
Note:If an e-mail account has been created already, do the following instead:
- TapMORE.
- TapSettings.
- TapAdd account.
- Enter your e-mail address and password.
3. You will be prompted to select the type of account you are using: SelectPOP3.
4. You will now be asked for theIncoming server settings:
- User Name: this must be the full e-mail address (e.g.: mail@example.com)
- Password: the password for this e-mail account.
- POP3 Server: mail.yourdomain (e.g.: mail.example.com)
- Security Type: None
- Port: 110
- Delete email from server: Never
- TapNextto continue
The phone will verify your incoming settings.
5. You will now be asked for theOutgoing server settings:
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain (e.g.: mail.example.com)
- Security Type: None
- Port: 587
- Require sign-in: this option must be ticked.
- User name: this must be the full e-mail address (e.g.: mail@example.com).
- Password: the password for this e-mail account.
- TapNextto continue.
The phone will verify your outgoing settings.
6. On theSync settingsscreen, you will be prompted to set theSync schedule. This determines how often your phone will check for new e-mail.
7. Select or de-select theNotify me when email arrivesbox.
TapNext.
8. On theSet up emailpage, you will be asked for the following:
- Account Name: this is an on-screen description of the account.
- Your Name: this is the name that will appear next to your e-mail address when you send mail.
